The YAAMNY Arts & Entertainment Committee in collaboration with Insider Expeditions presents After Hours at Museum 52 with Yale School of Art Faculty Daphne Fitzpatrick.
Join Yale School of Art Faculty Daphne Fitzpatrick for an intimate after-hours discussion and aperitif at Museum 52, a critically acclaimed contemporary art gallery on the Lower East Side. Ms. Fitzpatrick attended the School of Visual Arts and the Whitney Studio Program. She has had recent solo exhibitions at Bellwether, New York and La Galleria at La MaMa, New York. Her work has been exhibited widely at venues including The Center on Contemporary Art in Seattle and the Institute for Contemporary Art in Philadelphia. She has written for publications including Artforum, and she is the recipient of grants from Art Matters and the Jerome Foundation.
Enjoy the work on display, and a lively discussion of Ms. Fitzpatrick's methods and motives. Early registration $15, or $20 after February 5. Space is limited, and we expect this exclusive, after-hours event to sell out. Register today at http://yaamny-fitzpatrick.eventbrite.com/.

Join us for a cocktail in a unique NYC space - Central Park's historic Arsenal, in front of the Zoo. The Arsenal, home to the Department of Parks & Recreation since 1934, was built in the 1850s to store munitions, and we trust that Feb Club will be the most explosive event in the building's history. Since the building is an office, we will start at 7pm and wrap up at 10pm to allow the dust to settle before morning.

In line with our mandate to bring creative arts folk together, YAAMNY Arts/Entertainment is planning a series of performance parties. We have secured the use of a large pleasant space in Brooklyn, complete with a piano, excellent PA system - and inexpensive food and drink, and will hold an organizational meeting and tryouts for our first Performers' Round-up on Saturday, February 13th. If you want to participate in the round-up, please join us on for this meeting and be ready to give us a sample of what you can do. Performers must limit themselves to 10-12 minutes.
The actual YAAMNY Arts Performers' Round-Up will be in April, details to be posted on the YAAMNY website soon. After the performance there will be time for informal networking. And you don't have to be on stage to come to the performance; just be ready to enjoy yourself and meet alumni/ae in all the arts, all ages, all stages of their careers.
Please notify me ASAP ( This email address is hidden from email harvesters via JavaScript ) if you will be joining us on February 13 for try-outs, and tell me what type of performer you are.
